At our recent meetup, we had the pleasure of welcoming Kevin Junker, who shared his entrepreneurial journey from being part of the early startup team of Vikki Digital Bank — now successfully established as a digital bank — to founding his own venture as Founder & CEO of Smart Solar. Through Smart Solar, Kevin is now on a mission to help decarbonize Southeast Asia.

Kevin gave us an honest look into the courage it takes to leave a stable corporate career abroad in order to build a startup. Most inspiring for us was, how he made that bold decision not just once, but twice. His reflections on risk-taking, resilience, and entrepreneurship resonated strongly with us and sparked an engaging and thoughtful discussion.
